Artists StatementI am often drawn to nature for inspiration and enjoy creating landscapes and wildlife in glass. I work primarily with fusible glass in the form of sheet, frit (crushed glass) and strings of glass to create artistic images. The glass is assembled then fused in a kiln at temperatures reaching 1200 to 1500 F. The final art object is often made of several components that are pre-fused, reassembled in layers, and fused again to make a unified piece of art. Shipping UPS unless otherwise specified |
